WINAMP & DSP PLUGIN
Winamp is a free music player, and the Shoutcast DSP Plugin is an addon for Winamp that allows you to send both playlist music and live music.
This is the most popular free way to become a DJ!
If you installed Winamp and DSP Plugin correctly, you will see this when you open Winamp:
If you do not see this then close Winamp down and re-open it.
If you still do not see a "Nullsoft SHOUTcast Source" plugin popup, then visit the "Become a DJ" page
and install the DSP Plugin as you probably only have Winamp installed so far.
Step 1: click the "Output" tab at the top of the Nullsoft SHOUTcast Source box.
Step 2: click the "Connection" tab
Step 3: enter the given SHOUTcast Server IP that we provided into "Address" field (requires an account)
Step 4: do the same for "Port" field (requires an account)
Step 5: usernames are NOT needed, so make sure "Use legacy SHOUTcast v1 protocol" is checked on
Step 6: enter your DJ Password into the "Password" field (requires an account)
Step 7: test the "Connect" button
You can also set the "Yellowpages" tab and "Encoder" tab to your liking. Remember to Reconnect for changes to take effect.
